We lived to see inauguration of Park railway Olympia. Our feelings were wonderful
when we left the station Amphitheatre with the first passengers. But let´s go
step by step.
|
|
 |
|
|
We did not thinking about our park railway inauguration a year ago. But doings
of last months were very fast. But so goes the world. We were in the right place
in good time. And Mr Navratil, executive head and marketing director of Somerston
Olympia CZ, was in the same place. Park railway Olympia Brno was born at the time,
but in our heads only. We transfered our ideas on the paper and computer monitors
gradually. And we are ready to cut the tape today. Cut the tape symbolize completion
of something, but we are in the start ironically. We must work very hard yet.
The baby was born and we must establish, educate and direct him into life.
We believe our idea and we hope so our Park railway Olympia brno will gradually
prosper.
Preparing of this action will something new for us and we tried to undisappreciate
nothing. We had to improvize a little, because technical facilities missing
meanwhile. We will run from station Amphitheatre through return loop back to
station Amphitheatre. The wayside station was intended for technical facilities.
Some station track and switches were open in this station. Wide of ballast is
suitable for manipulations and proximity to in-line skating rink is advantage
for feed.
Management of Olympia detached storage area for us, guarded of safety service
in addition. We started transport of engines and waggons S.M.P.D. on Thursday.
Transport from storage area to park railway lasts about two hours always in the
morning and in the evening. We must build technical facilities at the first.

Petr Prikazky performed some adjustments on his steam engine KLISHAY since the

in Brno. KLISHAY is unable draw pew waggons, regarding its output, but Peter
drowe down his wife eventually. Visitors can look up to this unique steam engine.
And Peter is working on a new, more high-powered steam engine, which he would
like to set into operations this year.
